A young scavenger named Rey...a deserting storm trooper named Finn...an ace pilot name Poe...and a dark apprentice named Kylo Ren... Their lives are about to collide as the awakening begins. COLLECTING: STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS ADAPTATION 1-6
This is a very direct adaptation. There are no shots that reveal something you might have missed. There are no deleted scene type moments. It does make a good refresher if the movie isn’t fresh on your mind. The art is solid and I like that it isn’t overly realistic allowing for some different expressions and interpretations. I think they did a good job of cliff notes, but I’ll take the movie any day.
