Dracula by Bram Stoker
Format: Paperback

I really like the characters, I feel like their group is the basis for modern teams of super heroes. The conglomeration of backgrounds and the odd circumstances that brought them together. I find it odd that people put such focus on Van Helsing. He provides the information and the truth but Quincy is much more the modern hero and honestly Mina is the most central character or perhaps Jonathan. The format gets easier to read as you move on. Once the major players are together it becomes much more cohesive and the tempo increases. The story is very clean. Mostly mystery with a bit of action. I do believe Renfield is one of the most fascinating characters in literature. Anyway I suggest it, if nothing else any self-respecting vampire fan must read it. It is a classic though I found myself much more drawn by the heroes than the villain.
