Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin, pictures by Betsy Lewin

When these cows get a hold of a type writer farmers beware especially Farmer Brown.  The cows begin making demands and then going on strikes and then the chickens get in on it too until finally they reach a compromise… but then a certain mediator makes his own demands.  I can easily see this being a book that you read aloud and the kids are in charge of the click, clack, moo, etc.  The illustrations are absolutely enchanting and add such personality to the animals.  I absolutely giggled out loud reading this and now I want to see the others Cronin and Lewin have done together.
