Today’s topic is “Does the price of a book affect your decision about buying it? Do you wait for cheaper editions of books you want?”

Sometimes… If it is something I will definitely buy I often pre-order from Amazon and usually end up saving at least a little that way. I try to make myself buy paperbacks, even though I love hardcovers, just for money reasons. Once I have started a series in paperback or have at least some of it in paperback it is easier to stick with it. I don’t often simply wait for a sale or price drop. Really cover type and pre-ordering are my ways of saving.
