I thought having finished the show now would be a good time to review these. The first two pages will throw you for a loop. I like that we are introduced to the group one at a time, so that it is not too overwhelming. The art style is different from normal Marvel, I don’t think that it is my favorite but I can definitely see how it sort of fits the book. The parents well… if you’re reading this you probably know the basic premise already. The parent costumes are so hilarious but it does make them easy to keep straight.

Things happen quickly. The children learn the truth and they try to follow the rules. Discovering even more secrets. The parents finding out that they know… these parents became super villains for a reason. Yet they underestimate their own children. The children find a place to hide but there is still all kinds of trouble.

If you’ve watched the show it is fairly different but I think the spirit of the story is very much the same. I enjoyed that the show was able to take it’s time a bit more. It also goes it’s own direction. So you can read and watch and still be surprised!
