I don’t know if everybody gets the head over heels feeling when they find something new.  Maybe different people experience it differently.  For me it feels literally like being in love.  It feels much like when I feel the good night kiss land on my shoulder.  I suppose the major difference to me is I only love one man, but I do love a good number of books.  I’ve been more… hesitant? with my love in recent years.  Since fantasy came into the lime light there is a lot more prominently out there and so it is easier to be lead astray.  One of the quotes I read recommended this to readers of Tamora Pierce and I think I would whole heartedly agree.

Katsa was eight when she first killed a man, that is was an accident didn’t mean much to most people, who wouldn’t fear someone whose Grace was killing.  I think Cashore does a great job of easing you into the unfamiliar and somewhat complex world of Graces.  I LOVE the concept of Graces and it works beautifully.  Her uncle uses her as an enforcer, but as she works to do better things she starts down a path that will teach her about her Grace, herself and some dark things about the world she lives in.  Fire which is set in the same world but earlier and in a different place immediately got added to my Amazon cart!
